I am a trained chemical-technical assistant (CTA). ROTOP offered me a role that included not only laboratory work but also regulatory affairs activities. This immediately caught my interest, as I had no prior experience in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs and there is no specific textbook-based training for this field. As a result, it was very much a case of “learning by doing,” which allowed me to develop my skills significantly.
ROTOP was actually the only company offering a position that combined both laboratory and regulatory work, which perfectly matched my interests and abilities. I was quickly integrated into the ROTOP team, and everything felt like a good fit from the very beginning. The fact that there was no shift work also played an important role in my decision.
My field of work is strongly influenced by digitalization, as the handling of data in regulatory authorities is constantly evolving. This allows me to stay up to date in the digital world. I feel well supported in the company’s digital development and have the sense that I can actively contribute and help shape it.
What makes ROTOP special for me is its family-like atmosphere and the fact that it is a medium-sized company. It is not a standard, mass-production pharmaceutical manufacturer. We work in the diagnostics sector, which makes our work particularly exciting and meaningful. I also appreciate the proximity to nature at our location and the opportunity to commute to work by bicycle.
What I value most is the personal relationship with my colleagues and communication on equal terms. We work in a young and well-balanced team where hierarchies are barely noticeable. I also appreciate the strong integration of the works council and benefits such as JobBike and JobTicket, which make working at ROTOP more enjoyable. In addition, I think it is great that ROTOP remains innovative and continues to evolve.
