Anne-Marie | Head of Manufacturing

I actually came across the job posting quite by chance – and now I’ve celebrated my 5-year anniversary with ROTOP! I was particularly interested in the radiation protection aspect, having already completed a related course during my studies. I was therefore glad that my application was welcomed here and that the interview process was very pleasant.
I value our corporate culture because of the flat hierarchy and the open approach to dealing with mistakes, where teamwork is key – both internally and in cooperation with external partners.

My start in radiopharmacy as a production employee was an exciting challenge for me, as I was able to actively contribute to shaping processes. It also feels a bit like my “baby.” Sometimes I take it personally when things don’t work out, but I have learned how to deal with that and to trust that better times follow difficult ones.

With increasing experience, I felt ready to take on more responsibility. I was then offered the position of team leader. Together with my colleague, I faced the many challenges of the just-in-time business.

As the company continued to grow, I developed further as well. A typical working day for me as Head of Production starts at 8:00 a.m. with briefly checking emails, followed by tasks that vary from day to day. Supporting both the team and the production process are among my core responsibilities. This involves a significant amount of office work, such as creating or revising documents, communicating with service providers, and preparing batch documentation. Continuous process optimization is also an essential part of my role.

Even when things do not run smoothly and the equipment proves challenging, I can rely on my team and the other department heads. During lunch breaks, I especially enjoy the time we spend together in the break room, where we eat and talk about our experiences at work as well as about private matters.

Outside of work, I play volleyball and beach volleyball, and I go catamaran sailing with my partner.

I particularly appreciate our regular gatherings, such as Get-Togethers, summer parties, and the Rewe Team Challenge, as they offer the opportunity to meet colleagues from other buildings and get to know the continuously growing team. The diversity of our workforce makes ROTOP special. It is a colorful mix of people, and the management knows us by name. This truly reflects the appreciation for our work.
